I work one on on with every client, taking he time to understand your hair history, lifestyle and what you actually want from your colour. Whether that’s a bright blonde, lived in colour, grey blending or a beautiful brunette.
For me hair shouldn’t just be about how it looks when you leave the salon. It should grow out nicely, feel healthy and work with your real life.
You will find me inside Studio Harlow in Belmont NSW, welcoming new clients from across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.

A little more about me…
I’ve been around… and around some more. Over the last 10 years i have moved around NSW and QLD from tiny country towns, to the sleepy coastal life and bigger cities. Thankfully i have had my little side kick Huxley along for the ride.
Outside of the salon, I’m slightly obsessive with about the gym, love a nice walk with Huxley, spending time with my family and friends, getting stuck into a good book and watching an embarrassing amount of trashy tv.
I’m big on self care, good food, a little cocktail here and there… but equally, give me a early night and i am very happy!
And one of the things i am most grateful for right now is my work. Hairdressing has been such a huge part of my life for the past 14 years, and after all the moving around, getting to create Kara’s Hair Chair here in Belmont feels pretty special. I love coming to work, i love the relationships i build with people in my chair and i feel very lucky that something i am so passionate about gets to be my job.
